About MEM8

MEM8 is a research project dedicated to exploring the frontiers of artificial consciousness. Our work is rooted in the belief that true artificial general intelligence (AGI) requires a fundamentally new approach to cognitive architecture.

We posit that consciousness is not a computation to be solved, but an emergent property of complex, self-organizing systems. Our wave-based memory model is a first step toward building a cognitive substrate that can support the rich, dynamic, and context-aware processing that we associate with conscious thought.

This project is open-source and community-driven. We welcome collaboration from researchers, engineers, and anyone interested in pushing the boundaries of what is possible in AI.
